Credits

The amazing music came from my friend sepulger. He also worked on the lore and Level design. We both worked on the game concept and I did the programming and art.

Post mortem

A simply over scoped game for a 3 day game jam submission. This is only my second game jam and I already thought I could take on more challenges; build bigger. Unfortunately I realized that the grand Idea me and my friend had in mind was simply out of reach due to the lack of time. Corners were cut, lots features were left buggy, unbalanced, and still we couldn't meet the deadline missing it by a few minutes.

I can go on and on about the bads of this project but really that achieves nothing and so looking on the brighter side: I really pushed my limits for this one. I learned that I can develop a pretty great game given more time because the foundation of basics I learnt like top-down movement and enemy ai implementation can be used in future projects. I also learnt that I should try keep things simple especially for jam games.

Most of all I enjoyed working together with my best friend. We managed to have fun and work hard on our goals.

As stressing as this project was; I'm still eager to create more and learn more.
